Art In the Park - Marcy Patterson-Grudzien

Join us for an afternoon with local artist, Marcy Patterson-Grudzien*. Marcy will lead you on a creative journey using the concept of ‘Zine’ Art. With this format, you will learn to create your own, unique, tradable art! Tying in with the CBCA’s Cottagers’ Stories: Personal Memories of Crystal Lake project, you will be able to go on to create mini-stories of Crystal Lake to share, trade, or gift to friends, cousins, grandkids and neighbors. All ages and skill levels welcome! Please bring your own scissors! All other materials provided.

*Marcy Patterson-Grudzien is a local artist in Benzonia, MI. She teaches classes and her work can be found at the Oliver Art Center, Mecca, and more!

Located on the south shore of beautiful Crystal Lake near Frankfort, Michigan, the Crystal Beach Cottagers Association (CBCA) continues the sense of community and fellowship originally established by the Crystal Beach Christian Assembly in 1916.  The Association is made up of 72 privately owned cottages which, in many cases, have  been in the same family for two or three generations.  This website is designed to communicate current information to the CBCA community.
